About the Compound
Adamax is a synthetic nootropic peptide and a modified analogue of Semax, derived from the ACTH(4–7) fragment combined with a Pro-Gly-Pro sequence. N-terminal acetylation and C-terminal amidation are intended to slow enzymatic breakdown and extend its active window relative to unmodified Semax.
Research interest centres on BDNF and TrkB receptor signalling in the hippocampus and frontal cortex, alongside dopaminergic and serotonergic modulation and interaction with the MC3R and MC4R melanocortin receptors. Sequence Ac-MEHFPGPAG-NH2, molecular weight approximately 1032 g/mol.
