Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information under Canada's privacy law.
1. What We Collect
We collect only what's needed to fulfil your order and operate the store:
- Contact & shipping: name, email, shipping address, phone (if provided);
- Order details: products purchased, order history;
- Payment confirmation: transaction confirmations (we do not store full card numbers or private crypto keys — see §4);
- Technical: IP address, browser, and usage data via analytics (see §5).
2. How We Use It
To process and ship orders, communicate about your order, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and — only with your consent — send marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers necessary to operate: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), shipping carriers (Canada Post), and email/analytics tools — each only to the extent needed. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Payment Data
Payments are made directly via Interac e-Transfer or cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDC, USDT) to our receiving addresses. We do not use a third-party card processor, and we never collect or store credit card numbers. For crypto payments, we receive only the public transaction record on the blockchain, never your wallet keys or private information.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for cart and checkout function, and analytics tools (GA4 and Microsoft Clarity) to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain order and transaction records as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically 7 years), and other personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here.
7. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, withdraw consent for marketing, and request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it. To exercise these rights, contact us (see §9).
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and limit access to it.
