Enter the peptide mass in the vial, the volume of diluent you add, and the amount you want per draw. The draw volume and syringe units update as you type.

How the numbers are worked out
The peptide dissolves evenly through the diluent, so every step is a simple ratio. Worked example: a 10 mg vial with 2 mL of diluent, drawing 250 mcg.
Concentration
Peptide mass divided by diluent volume.
10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL
= 5,000 mcg/mLDraw volume
Target amount divided by concentration.
250 mcg ÷ 5,000 mcg/mL
= 0.05 mLSyringe units
On a U-100 scale, multiply millilitres by 100.
0.05 mL × 100
= 5 unitsHandling notes
General lab practice for lyophilized peptides. Full storage guidance is on our Quality & Handling page.
- Let it warm up firstBring a refrigerated vial to room temperature before opening to limit condensation.
- Add diluent slowlyRun it down the inside wall of the vial rather than straight onto the powder.
- Swirl, don’t shakeGentle swirling dissolves the peptide without foaming or shearing.
- Label and refrigerateMark the vial with the date and concentration, then store at 2–8 °C away from light.
